Sauteed Fresh Spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 large box of Fresh Baby Spinach
  • 2 TBLS Butter
  • 2-3 TBLS Olive oil
  • Fresh Garlic chopped fine
  • Fresh Shallot chopped fine

Steps

In a deep large pot or skillet, Melt butter and olive oil together. Add shallots and garlic and saute for 2 minutes.

Add all the spinach to the pot and with tongs, pick up and stir to evenly cook the spinach. Cook just until wilted and bright green, about 5 - 7 minutes.

Plate as is, draining any liquid before plating. Optional add fresh lemon zest or parmesan on top!
